About M4S Birmingham
The M4S Birmingham hub is run by the scientific staff of the Microscopy Facility and the – Outreach and Widening Participation in the College of Medicine and Health – University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
The Birmingham hub runs competitions within the wide urban area providing schools technical and logistical support for the activity. The microscope equipment is funded by the Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine and the prizes for the winning school are funded with the College’s Public Engagement grant.
